Landscapes are dynamic, experiential, and ever-evolving. They are composed of layers and layers of systems and components, all working together simultaneously to create the places that we inhabit and the environments that support us. Landscapes are the fabric that binds together ecological, agricultural, rural, and urban environments. With this context in mind, how are we able to memorialize within the landscape?

While everyone’s healing process is completely different, there are some common emotions that we hope to convey. Our design is a metaphor for the healing process that a victim of sexual assault might experience.
